Unwind toward deeper somatic integration & freedom of movement.
My bodywork experience began as a child when I was conscripted to massage my parents’ feet and shoulders. I learned early on the power of touch, intention, and directed pressure on the body. My life journey took me from Boston to the Himalayas, where I lived for over a decade and worked as a mountain guide and study abroad instructor for American high school and college students. In those magical folds of the earth, I also had the great fortune to study various healing and movement arts. My personal injuries, trauma, and sickness offered fertile ground to explore the depths of healing, metabolization of pain, and the vast intelligence and inherent freedom of the body. My licensed bodywork practice offers me the exceptional opportunity to work with clients completely as they are, addressing their individual goals, addressing a medical condition, providing an atmosphere of deep relaxation. It is an honor to witness and hold space for healing, unwinding, and self awareness. I am most excited to work on a structural level with clients, using specific pressure and Myofascial techniques to help foster a more balanced organization of the body system. I stay abreast of the current research on the fascial net of the body, applying new techniques to sensitively work with this highly intelligent connective tissue to release tension and trauma and allow greater freedom of movement in the body. I love this work and the opportunity to be with each client as they are, to witness and hold space for the stories and beautiful life each body hosts in the spirit of healing.
