Aliya Martinson
Aliya Martinson is a Taos based Licensed Massage Therapist who believes in approaching health and wellness from a trauma informed, holistic approach. Her passion for the healing and the wellbeing of physical and emotional bodies was sparked at a young age and she was finally able to pursue schooling for Holistic Health and Medical Massage Therapy at UNM Taos in 2019. She graduated with an Associates degree in Applied Sciences with a dual certification in Massage Therapy and Holistic Health in 2022. Aliya is currently continuing her education by pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness and attending continuing education classes for her massage practice. She specializes in the management and treatment of injuries and chronic pain patterns. She works with her clients to address their specific concerns and areas of discomfort. Aliya’s primary massage modalities are myofascial release, deep tissue, neuromuscular massage, craniosacral therapy, and trigger point therapy. This combination of modalities allows for the creation of space within the body and mind systems, which enables the client’s spiritual and physical structure to rearrange and attain a balance within itself– Aliya is simply there as a conduit for healing and relaxation.
