My explorations into both the scientific and intuitive aspects of bodywork and healing, along with 30 years of studying the body, yoga, dance and somatics aim to provide a supportive, safe and rejuvenating experience for my clients.
My formal massage studies began in 2009 at the San Francisco School of Bodywork and Massage. It was a natural progression for me, arriving from many years of teaching yoga and a desire to deepen a holistic understanding of being embodied and all that encompasses: from healing injuries to making shifts to higher states of harmony and balance
My toolbox includes Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Neurokinetic Therapy®, and SourcePoint Therapy® – an energetic healing modality intended to support and enhance all manual therapies. Movement plays a central role in my work to eliminate pain and dysfunction. I also keep updated on the latest advances in pain science.
The full scope of my training and tools informs my sessions with each client for a highly individualized approach that meets their needs and goals. It is a joy to share this work and support people in finding a greater awareness and expression of their true, radiant selves!
